Hello everyone, this my first post and that was also a very obvious statement. Yay for aggressive self-analysis of everything I say.

So, I'm a trans woman, living in Missouri with my fiancée. As part of all my therapy stuff to get on hormones, I was told that I am probably on the high functioning end of the spectrum, but not formally "officially" diagnosed. I've been digging into information on this and found this to really explain a lot about me and my struggles growing up. I'm in my 40s now, and hopefully this community here can be helpful to me in figuring this ASD thing out.

Hello!

Yes, it's surprising the amount of transgender people are or supposedly are on the autism spectrum. And being both can really throw people off because their preconceptions of both conditions (if you want to called trangenderism a "condition") are wildly different. I hope anyone who you do decide is worthy of this information is understanding.
