Hi, not sure what to say here. I'm a 22 year old woman from Canada, and my mom is totally convinced I'm an aspie. She's read up a lot on it since she relates to a lot of it as well. I've looked into getting diagnosed but theres not a lot out there for Canadian adults in this sort of situation so I find myself at a loss, financially as well, and I'm not totally sure an official diagnosis would help me anyway.
But I figured it couldn't hurt to try to learn more, so I'm here! :D

welcome
there isn't a lot in any country, the us has more specialists for children but not adults .
i was astounded there was anything in n.e.england! but theres a team for 3 counties combined ! one thing you could try is go to a free clinic if you are near one that exists !see if they could find a psych who could diagnose you

Hi Filistata. Welcome to AC!!!

There is a lot of information on this site that will probably help you to self-diagnose or not. You might want to take some online quizzes to help you decide.
