Animalistic Instincts

So, pretty much all my life I've been very...animal. I'm prone to growling, snorting, whimpering, swiping when threatened, kneading, holding my arms at my sides in a dangling "puppy-like" position, and much, much more.

Is this common with autism? Or is this something more akin to something else?
 
i used to growl a lot but thats because i coudnt verbally speak,my arms are dangling like that to and i hit out when threatened to,i do relate to animals,i feel that connection i feel no connection to humans so you could be onto something there.
 
Hey, we are all animals :)

These are all things small children do, and they learn not to. I believe that if we had more support, especially growing up, we would not have to compensate so very much.
