*Little* Things That Annoy You (Pet Peeves)

Oh wow, yes! I feel that I could commit murder lol You brought a memory to me, when as a child, we would get videos from a local shop and before the film started, they went through such an elaberate way of talking a about piracy and I would think: is that worse than murder, rape etc? Because...

    Cross stitch advice needed

Hi I am an avid cross stitcher and would say, it depends on the thread. It is stranded cotton or is it wool? If stranded cotton, probably three strands and if wool, one strand, since wool is thicker than cotton.

    My Internal Conflict Right Now

There are "neurotypicals" I know that are amazing and lol what do we find out, that somewhere along the line, they are neurodiverse and why we get on! Neurotypicals exhaust me. I do not understand their language and they do not want to try and help; they expect us to understand their language...

After a lot of persuasion and persistance from psychiatrist and hubby, I am now taking anti anxiety meds - but!

Lol I have been given prescriptions for a lot of different types of medicine, but have refused to take them. When I go back in March, if I am still suffering from extreme tiredness and bitterness in mouth etc, I will mention it.

I wish i knew less about...

I used to not be able to read facial expressions and now, read them too well, coupled with paranoia. I so wish I could go back to when I was unable to read expressions. But, when I could not, I felt so embarrassed and wish I could read. Oh, the paradoxical of living life lol

After a lot of persuasion and persistance from psychiatrist and hubby, I am now taking anti anxiety meds - but!

But, my health anxiety is popping its ugly head up. Suddenly experiencing a wretched bitterness in mouth. Lol I have been "passed" from one psychiastrist to another, all because I insist on not taking medicine and finally, have a lovely Romanian lady psychiastrist, who seems to actually listen...

    Social anxiety and embarrassing situations

ALL THE TIME. Put like that, not to show, but for complete understanding! I am gathering that is part of what having social anxiety is like. I usually get the "hush" and hand going down, when, unbeknowest to me, I have started to get loud and I feel so crushed with that and want to fade away...

Question about Asperger Syndrome and "Severe Asperger"

How I understand it, if one's score comes out very high, then they are closer to having classic autism. When I was being diagnosed, the "expert" said that I do not have autism; I have Asperger's syndrome, but due to the medical world not wanting to recognise that name, it is now referred to...

Uncontrollable fear and anxiety in learning to drive

I am a non driver. Did have a chance to practice and was told I could be a good driver, but only with automatic, due to not being able to multi task. I found in horrifyingly fascinating and was glad to get out of the car, to be able to breath. So, I know the theory of driving, but have no...

"Original Sin"....Just Another term for our animal nature?

Well, I am a believer in a Creator and one of the very first scriptures I learned by heart is Romans 5:12. Of course, one needs to believe that the bible is inspired of God, in order to go along with that scripture. For me, it is a powerful scripture to show why humans suffer so much.

Thinking about telling my sister about my diagnosis - I'm scared

For me, receiving a formal diagnosis, made it much easier to say I have Aspergers and no need to wonder how to tell my husband, because he was there, when I was diagnosed. I do not have any communication with my family members, so no issue there. The way you are describing difficulties, that...

What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?

You remind me of me! I used to push myself into situations, believing that all I needed was to get used to it, but no matter, was always the one left out and yes, smiling and trying to be friendly, but sadly, mostly mute and when I did venture to talk, my throat being so tight and uncomfortable...

What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?

The most adventeous thing I have done and now, wonder on how earth I managed it, but was go a concert on my own, to see my obsession at the time. It was awesome and frightening. But, it took so much of me, I could not do it again. Now, my most adventeous act, would be going through a door on my...
