Hardcore Rapper & Still Need Comfort Toy??

Hey everyone. I have Asperger’s and I definitely have a unique personality. I’m a Hardcore Rapper (my genre) but if I get upset or lonely, I want to cuddle with my bestest friend, “Ollie The Alien”! I don’t take him I’m public very often. In fact, the only time was immediately after a violent...

    4 Hour Melt-Down/Crying Fit

Thank you. I was kind of curious if one of those two things could also be why contributes to trigger emotions like that. I also have triggers but it's also quite random as well. And I have also been very negative lately. There may also be why it took me four hours to get off the couch after...

Thank you. I wish you had that magic too. I would give anything to borrow it for just a moment. ☹️

    4 Hour Melt-Down/Crying Fit

Wow. So I'm not alone. Thank you for sharing. I hope this is not too personal, but I'm 29 years old, and I was repeatedly, and violently, sexually violated by 11 men, several times each week, from the age of 6 1/2 until I moved away at age 10. As you can guess, that left an imprint on me that...

    4 Hour Melt-Down/Crying Fit

Thanks. I'm trying to figure out what to do. I know the crying will stop eventually, but I know that this will stick with me for the rest of my life. I don't know why, and I can't explain it, but there are so many things, little things, that effect me more than they would most people, and I...

    4 Hour Melt-Down/Crying Fit

Today has been very hard on me. I just finished crying for over 4 hours. And when I say crying, I was home alone, curled up on the couch crying so hard I almost couldn't breathe. I've shared on here before that one of my intense interests/stress relieving hobbies is collecting tiny items from...

    Anyone else have comfort items?

Wow, I didn't know about the biological response going on. Thank you for that bit of info.

    Anyone else have comfort items?

I have 2 Bluetooth headphones and a corded pair for my iPhone 7+ because I'm listening to music almost constantly, all day and all night. And while I have a ton of music, it's usually the same 1 or 2 songs over and over for hours at a time before I change the song. This is all day, every day.

    Anyone else have comfort items?

What do you mean you change your environment? I never thought about this before, but for some reason unknown to even myself, I completely rearrange my ENTIRE house, every room, closet, etc, at least once per week. I've actually rearranged everything every other day for weeks trying to make it...

    Anyone else have comfort items?

It is, actually. And I feel... safer? Not sure if that's the best description but it feels right.

    Anyone else have comfort items?

Yeah I totally couldn't take outside of my apartment. lol My phone, even if I'm not using it, makes me feel better when in public. I hold it to my chest.

    Anyone else have comfort items?

Ok, please don't laugh at me for this. I've never talked about this with anyone before. But when I'm extremely upset, which is a lot, I have what I call "comfort items". For example, I'm 29 years old and I have my stuffed alien, who I named 'Ollie'. I hold him and it helps me. If I'm in...

Increased Pain Tolerance? I hurt SO much.

I'm in pain management for pain because of a work related injury several years ago. 40mg of Percocet per day. It was 30mg per day until May, and I BEGGED for an increase for nearly 2 solid years. Here's the problem: the MRI results have never showed injuries that should cause me "that much"...
