  • Are you familiar with Gestalt analysis of dreams? If, for instance you dream about falling out of an apple tree, you'd ask yourself what it means to you to be a tree, an apple.
    tree
    tree
You'd specify whether the tree was blossoming or bearing fruit; whether you hit the ground or not. And what it means to you to be blossom/or fruit and the ground....etc. It is not 'dream symbolism' imposed by some other person. The dreamer establishes the meaning of his dream.
