I know how you feel, I've had a few meltdowns recently too. I hope you feel better soon.

    Flunked My Final Exams

I know, I've calmed down a bit now. I always knew that I might do pretty badly, I just never expected to do that badly. It doesn't help that there are only about 20 people in the country that actually understand the ATAR. I've only met one person who even understood how it's calculated.

    Flunked My Final Exams

But that's the thing, I didn't do that badly in my exams. I found that they were a bit harder than previous years, but because the ATAR is a rank, not result, it shouldn't have mattered. I don't know, I just don't know how to handle it.

    Flunked My Final Exams

Hello again everyone, I'm back after taking some time to work on my studies. Which didn't go so well. To start, I'll explain to those who don't know how the ATAR in Australia works. It's a percentile rank, giving you a rank compared to everyone else who started high school with you around the...

    Tumblr

Tumblr is fine unless you get involved in politics. The art and fandoms are actually pretty cool.

    I'm Really, Really Sorry

The problem with trying to be "normal" is that there really isn't such a thing as normal. What you want to be is socially acceptable, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is unhealthy to act like a completely different person all of the time. The best thing to do is when in a public...

Aspies boys more comfortable with their masculinity?

I've just never seen any reason to let other peoples opinions bother me. I mean, I love watching action movies, hunting and do plenty of other things that would be classed as "masculine." But I also regularly watch classic Disney movies and sing along with them and I often use women's deodorant...

'We are all different, and that’s wonderful' says creator of viral autism video

A very simple and educational video. I will suggest it to my teachers for the new autism awareness class that the junior school does.

Name an ASD "super power" or talent you have no use for

I have really good senses, like the hearing you mentioned, to the point that I can recognise the way certain people and places smell. Not in a weird way, I just have habit of associating people with smells. I also have near perfect night vision. My main weird skill is my ability to predict the...

    Your Addictions

I'm too poor to have any addictions, but I have a huge collection of second hand books.

What characters do/did you find relatable?

Karma from Assassination Classroom, Mob from Mob Psycho 100, Mr Aizawa from My Hero Academia and Ralph from Wreck-It Ralph. Probably some others, but those are the ones that come to mind right now.

I feel like a pariah in my own town

When I was younger, I was very violent and had a crazy temper on me. So I spent years having people avoid me because they were afraid of me. Eventually though, I realised that I was the one with the problem, so I started helping people and being polite to them and now I'm well respected by...

Most messed up/Disturbing Movie You Ever Saw?

The Ninth Life of Louis Drax I will warn that it depicts some really screwed up perceptions of mental health issues and child abuse.

    Are Aspies Non-Conformist?

I forgot to mention though; I'm now actually very popular, mostly because the increase in popularity of anime, superhero and sci-fi movies and other things that have always been classed as "nerdy". About half a year ago a group of younger girls (about 2 years younger than me) started talking to...

Issues with other sites and controversial/unpopular opinions

My favourite thing about this site; I've never seen a single argument where people won't look at the facts. It's honesty wonderful that such a site exists.
