So annoying that we have very little food or drink in the house and we don't get paid until Friday. Why can't things be free?

Buy big bag of rice, and beans, and seasoning. That will get you thru next time. I gave someone a bunch of ramen/instant noodles, all l ate until outstanding tax bill /credit card bill was paid

Well we have bags of pasta and I'm happy to eat pasta for dinner every night because it's my favourite and it's quite addictive, although I need cheese to go on it. But I do like to have a variety of choices in the fridge and cupboards.

To much pasta and l will turn into a giant cannoli. :)
The best movie of the year is being released on Prime Video March 21st. Road House remake, here I come.

Breaks me heart. Another remake that shouldn't be made.

I was surprised how the Academy snubbed Barbie. I thought it was the cleverest film of the year, Poor Things, notwithstanding. Plus, it was a fun viewing and amazing set design. There must have been a shortage of Pink paint when the studio was working on Barbie.
I bought a plush animal today and I was so happy when I found it! Wearing headphones (because the store played too loud music), jumping up and down smiling because we had finally found the right kind of plush pokemon, it was probably the least masked I've been in public (apart from overstimulation/meltdowns) I remember. It was so great!
I had so many one in a million things happen in my life recently I don't think I should believe that nonsense anymore.

First a woman came up to me and my friend in a coffee shop. Read my post history. We are friends. First female friend ever in my life. Never in a million years thought it would happen.
Lost over 80 pounds. Doing yoga. Again. Never in a million years. Socializing. Have many friends. Never in a million years I would think when I was 18.

Wow, you must be projecting a great aura!

Perhaps you realize now that when it comes to life, your math may be bit off. Strange- and wonderful things can and do happen to people. It's just that more often than not, you just never know when they do.
My youngest ( 18, Autistic and super awesome) son starts work today, in Woolies, at Balaclava, it is a supermarket close to where he lives with my Dad. In Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He wants to work hard so he can move out and be properly independent. We talk everyday on the phone. I'm so incredibly impressed and awed by how much he's developing his adulting life skills.
I wish I got paid on a Sunday or a Monday rather than a Friday, because Sundays and Mondays always seem to come round quicker than any of the other days of the week. It's always a bloody Sunday or Monday.
It's rat cage cleaning day and I don't feel like doing it. Plus one of them throws a huge temper tantrum because he doesn't want to go into the temporary cage. But because I love them so much I just can't neglect them. They need a clean, healthy environment.
This is the result of a rat tantrum:

Maybe put a little special treat in the holding cage? So that their brain gets trained to associate something pleasurable with the move?

Lol rats are more complex than that lol. They have a lot of human-like behaviours, so if he screams and kicks and scratches he's actually trying to tell me that I can't control him lol, but I can because he's my pet and I'm responsible for him.
Watching The Royal Tenenbaums, an ultimate cinematic genius. This off-beat movie makes my very core happy. I could watch this movie on repeat for days. One of the singular times Ive had an inkling of emotion whilst watching a movie.

I am a major Wes Anderson fan. The way he pieces his movies together, so satisfying. Ooo, that sounds fantastic. I shall have to find that and indulge.

There are limited movies that have the same feel as Wes Anderson. Some only have a scene that parallels.

Here you go!

Anderson borrowed from this film to make the fox one. I'm fond of medieval literature and the earliest years of the movies so this was one I like too.

Thank you so much. I am beyond excited to watch this!
I had a conversation which hit way too deep for me this wednesday. Basically, it was about physical activity and getting inspiration but it derailed and... I was left speechless after he said "You can't blame everything on your autism..." and I replied (without lying) "I never even mentioned my autism once in this conversation."
I just watched The Abyss. It is a supremely silly movie.

You must have seen the watered-down version. Oh well....lol. Seriously though, for what it is I thought it was far too long a movie. "Earth vs. The Flying Saucers" and "The Day The Earth Stood Still" presented a similar message in half the time years ago.
I had a beautiful swim in the creek near my son's house today. :) Lovely ending to a beautiful weekend with my oldest. I can hear cows and birds, as there are cow paddocks and forests all around. His Kelpie girl puppy has really taken to me too. Waiting for my guy to come pick me up now. I can't wait for him to see the place.
I found out I am not the only neurodiverse person in my church. There are two other women in my life groups one with ADHD and another with the same autism as me but women show it different.

For women it's often difficult to get diagnosed as the presentation of autism/ADHD is different. Sounds like you are meeting more people, which is good.
