It Is Crazy To Keep Doing The Same Thing Over And Over And Expect Different Results.

I have been looking for patterns in my life that I would like to stop from repeating. It is easy to get used to the way things go in your life and to stop paying attention to what is really happening. I thought it might be good to pay attention and make a big effort to stop repeating patterns that are not working well for me. I plan to develop a whole new neighborhood of mistakes and leave the old ones behind.

One of these mistakes is one that I still have a chance to nip in the bud. I have been brooding on it a little, but find myself at a loss on a way to get a really good outcome.

This is one of those relationship things that Aspies do not do so well with. The gist of it is that a friend needs money and I need help with work that needs to be done. It looks like a no-brainer, but nope. The friend has begun a Jekyl/Hyde transformation since I only told her about having her work for me. I could neither stand the change in behavior as a friend nor as an employee. I have really liked her as a friend and do not want to lose the friendship.

My impulse is to tell my friend what is going on and ask her whether she can do anything about her behavioral change. I know from experience that approach is not very likely to work well for me. My secondary idea to deal with this, is to try to find an acceptable way to tell her that I no longer want to hire her. I do not want to lie to my friend in the process, either.

I have a lot to get done today, but plan to continue this post as I am able to fit it in.

I know how you feel. I have trouble stopping the same things as well like how my mom is worried that listening to the song called monster from skillet is making feel me feel like certain mistakes I do make me look like a monster

Relationships are difficult. Each person we interact with is different. Someone off the radar often doesn't take the time in understanding others. What's hard is not to take their lack of getting it too personal. Looking for patterns that caused eventual mistakes is smart. Self improvement and to better oneself brings a certain peace and acceptance. I get it...
