#6 Kissyface/thoughts

Kissyface is a word I never heard used before I heard a fellow
30 years old at church say that was what he wanted. He hoped
to find a girlfriend because he'd like a little 'kissyface.'

It seemed pretty saccharine, to me.
It sounded like something a person would say to a baby.
Or possibly a pet bird.

Kissyface sounds like the name of a doll.
'Kissyface' with real smooching action!
This sounded so likely that I googled it, just now.

(Girl's name) and (boy's name) sitting in the tree
K-i-s-s-i-n-g! (spell it out)
First comes love.
Then comes marriage.
Then comes (Girl's name) with a baby carriage

The word 'kissyface' sounds benign and childlike
as well as overly coy and childish. It depends on the
circumstance in which it is used.

I went to school half a day for six weeks my last year of
high school, due to mono. This was rather a status boost
for a nerdy girl. I had the 'kissing disease.'

Comments

Yes not the most well thought out comment for a 30 year old in church ...asking for boot in the pants out the doorsy...:p

Even though he expressed himself in an intentionally childish and self conscious way,
he didn't mean any harm by what he said. He wasn't trying to be crude. And it wasn't
during the service that he said this.

Meh! :( it is not how I would have said it...there are more lovely ways to talk about the need for true love in ones life.
