Dr. Katharina Manassis is a recently retired Child Psychiatrist and Professor Emerita in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She led a clinical-research program in childhood anxiety disorders for over 20 years at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, where she taught numerous students and published over 90 papers in professional journals. She has written 8 mental health related books for parents, professionals and other thoughtful readers including the Canadian bestseller “Keys to Parenting Your Anxious Child” and her most recent works "Launching Your Autistic Youth to Successful Adulthood” and "Why Taking Your Time Saves Time."
