I wonder where the kid's accent came from. That's never explained in the video. His mom doesn't sound British at all.

It's not Southern though, even though if you look closely at the credits, it came from Atlanta, Georgia. The mother is American from what I could tell or maybe Canadian.
Can't tell from an Animation.
Anyways... the clip is awesome!
The boy is so bright and well optimistic about the world.
