    "Q&A": Good aspie-positive animated short

This is an animated short in which the dialogue is taken from an interview that a 12-year-old aspie did with his mother for the StoryCorps project:

I wonder where the kid's accent came from. That's never explained in the video. His mom doesn't sound British at all.

It won a "best in show" award at the 2009 ASIFA-East Animation Festival:

He sounds American to me. It's not Southern though, even though if you look closely at the credits, it came from Atlanta, Georgia. The mother is American from what I could tell or maybe Canadian. Can't tell from an Animation. Anyways... the clip is awesome! The boy is so bright and well optimistic about the world.

That child has a completly 'sunny' outlook in the animated clip, and coupled with the beautiful curiosity, woul become a scientist,or biologist. Is this based on an actual child? if so, that child is very intelligent!

Yes, he's a real child who interviewed his mother for the StoryCorps project.

That, I think is awesome! Do they plan on making more videos? I hope so, as people, including children old enough to understand this, need to watch,it would be uplifting for their spirits, especially if they were in the duldrums, and needed a bit of incouregement. This child is a good 'roll model'.
