    Dad Jokes

The blonde grabbed a little boy from a park. She gave him a note "if you want to see your son again send him to the park with $50k", and told him to take it home. The next day he was back with $50k and a different note "how can you do this to a fellow blonde?"

Who say's we can't do small talk and conversations?

It's nice for you to be ok with small talk and conversations with new people. Bravo! Some of us just ain't. I can pretty much be myself and discuss topics here because it's essentially mind to mind exchanges without the distractions of having to monitor and control my meat puppet while at the...

    Secrets

I was very demanding of myself growing up and especially in adulthood. As much as I never wanted to be noticed, I figured if a group was worth my participation, then they were worth my admitting I was part of them. So I didn't hide my participation, nor did I shout it from the rooftops. If...

    Nature as therapy

I am officially chillin under a shade tree in a warm breeze on a remote island beach today. Literally no one around for miles. Will be out here a week. Will visit several islands before going home. The view from my reclining lawn chair. My dinner solar cooking on the sand. It's an unopened can...

I'm new here and I thought maybe this could be a cure for me.

Welcome, young padawan! To quote Douglas Adams, "The secret is to bang the rocks together" It would have been helpful to know why I was weird when I was your age. I just figured I was, and moved on. Had no idea what Asperger's was. It hadn't been "discovered" in the US back then. I did find...

Is it normal to have friends younger than you? Even up to ages from 10 to 20 years younger.

One friend is my age. One is 9 years older (75 to my 66). Two are in their 40s. One is in his 30s. So they range from +9 to -30 years from my age.

What? I am on the speaker phone, oh boy.....

It's not a grey area. The person using speakerphone should always tell the other party if other people can hear them.

Met a fellow ASD-1 over the weekend.

Many of us do not like being touched, or touching other people (obviously not all autistic people are this way, but many are). Not because of contamination but because of the way it feels. People who meet someone new often like to shake hands. I knew there would be several people there that I...

I had a very intetesting day today

I haven't seen that movie. I guess it's om the list now. Generally though, Hollywood gets narcolepsy about as correct as they get autism. If you are physically active doing normal things, you don't randomly fall asleep. It's more like when you are comfortably seated doing minimal physical...
